Let’s Weave Tea Towels
on a Rigid Heddle
This class is designed for an Advance Beginner Weaver,
This means you Know:
- *how to warp a 24″ Rigid Heddle loom or larger, but want a refresher
- * how to weave plain weave
- In this class we will:
* learn how to weave Bronson Lace using a pick up stick
* reading the pattern
* Time will be spent controlling selvages
* hand stitching a hem
In this class we’ll be using “Misty Morning Towels” by Tammy Bast
You can never have too many towels, especially when they’re as thick and soft as the Bronson Lace set. Use these thirsty towels in the kitchen or as elegant hand towels in the bath.

Our class “Let’s Weave tea towels” will meet 3 learning sessions and you will have 2 homework assignments.
Class Schedule:
Meet for learning Saturdays 11:00 – 2:00 April 19, April 26 and May 10
Cost: $185 includes class, pattern and weavers yarn included
You will be making 2 towels 19X25 after hemming.
Warp and weft yarn provided for you to use : Bean 3/2 100% organic cotton, We have provide the color “Dawn” but many other colors are available.

Bring the supplies below, if you have. Please support our Alpaca Gift Shop if you are needing to make a purchase. We carry Kromski Looms and Accessories along with Gist Cotton yarn cones and kits.Thank you
* Bring your 24″ Rigid heddle loom or larger with accessories, (warping peg, 24 inch stick shuttle or longer )
*12 dent heddle, if you are not sure then measure the spaces 1 inch should have 12 spaces
*separators -can be cardboard, paper or scrap yarn to separate the yarn on the beam (it’s ok we’ll get you started)
*weaving hook that fits through the 12 dent heddle
*scissors
*tape measure
clips or pins
